Covermates Elite car covers are constructed from a durable, 300 denier woven polyester material. This particular material is terrific in all weather conditions. A special coating on the fabric makes it highly water-resistant, yet moderately breathable. It also has 5x more abrasion resistance as well as 2x the tearing strength of multi-layered non-woven materials.

In addition, the Elite polyester material blocks up to 99% of the sun's damaging UV rays, which allows the material to last longer and fade at a more moderate rate. The Elite car cover is also mold and mildew-resistant.

Caring for your Covermates Elite Car Cover

It's important to clean and maintain your Elite car cover for optimal performance. By cleaning your cover periodically, you'll be preventing the "fogging" effect that can take place on your vehicle's windows.

To hand wash your Elite car cover, you may leave it on your vehicle. Mix an ounce of mild dishwashing liquid per quart of warm water. Spray or sponge the soapy water onto the cover and clean with soft bristle brush or sponge. Rinse thoroughly with plain water until no suds are evident and allow to completely air dry before storing away.

Important Note: No cover is completely waterproof.

Covermates Elite car covers are designed with various levels of water-resistance while still being breathable to provide a maximum amount of protection for your vehicle. If your vehicle is exposed to harsh elements such as constant moisture or snow, or is covered outside for long periods of time, trapped moisture can occur, which can leave a cloudy water residue on your vehicle's surface.

To ensure optimal performance, we recommend removing your cover periodically to check for any evidence of moisture. If moisture is present, we suggest allowing the surface of your vehicle to completely dry before putting your cover back on your vehicle.
